Wish i had not started this post. Take a deep breath, count to 10 and start again. We are supposed to be all pulling together during this ****, lets not start fighting amongst ourselves, life is too short to be fighting over trivial matters.
Stay safe.

Amen to that Rog
Don't worry about starting it, you didn't
Stay safe and please stay sane
Stags and Range Rover Classics - I must be a loony
Roger don’t worry, it’s not the thread that’s at fault, it’s frayed tempers and people falling out with their own fingernails!
Strange times and not just on here, the MB Owners Club Forum has similar issues - moderators having busy times. Just rise above it, the thread was valid.

Totally agree Roger, but when we kick a stone we have no idea what’s underneath. Too many people have been unfortunate bedmates with this evil virus, and I believe that it has affected their outlook on life for the better of others, rather than me me me attitude, which is all too common these days.
I will be amazed if Silverstone Classic will happen this year and even if it does, many who already have tickets will not put themselves into a high risk situation. I’m not expecting a refund but hope the club gets its subsidy back.
Richard highlighted the plight of organisations who rely on fundraising and are in a desperate state and need our support now. God knows what state we’ll be in if they fail.
Keep well everyone and hopefully meet at Silverstone Classic in 2021.
We promised you an update before the end of May… and it is with a heavy heart that we bring you news that the 2020 Silverstone Classic will not be going ahead.
Following the latest Government advice, we have reached the inevitable conclusion that we will need to cancel this year’s event. Given the current circumstances and the outlook on timescales, a postponed event - which was our original back-up plan - in a way that enables us to run the Classic in the manner that you know and love isn’t a feasible option. Our priority at all times is the safety and wellbeing of those attending our events as well as our own team and we know that you’ll understand why this step has been necessary. Our heartfelt thanks must go to all of you for your patience throughout this period of uncertainty.
As an independent events company passionate about what we do, we are proud to have developed the Silverstone Classic into an internationally renowned historic motorsport festival enjoyed across generations of car enthusiasts, families, racing drivers, and petrolheads. In times of difficulty, communities tend to come together and we’re incredibly grateful for your continued support. It means a lot. All of you are what makes the event the success that it is and we look forward to celebrating our 30th anniversary with you next year instead.
Your 2020 ticket
Rest assured you will have the option to roll your tickets over to the 2021 event or request a full refund. There are a number of measures we need to put in place first, but we will be back in touch with each of you in June with details of the next steps. In light of the current situation, we have a reduced team who are dealing with a high number of enquiries, so please do bear with us.
We’ll be in touch soon. In the meantime, and above all else, stay safe and healthy.
With our best wishes,
The Silverstone Classic Team

Problem cancelling the Horwood House Hotel - they won't cancel but will extend the booking until end July 2021 I suppose they are upset that they won't have a car park full of Stags!
