Spray Paint for interior, Powder Blue.

    Good evening all.
I have an interior that has been spray painted in the past on the tonnue cover and the top of the rear seat. Despite how this sounds, it actually looks superb and I wasn't even aware untill I cleaned the tonnoue with a fluid that didn't react well on the paint, I've owned the car for six years. I've been trying to find a colour match for "Powder Blue" on paint charts or RAL numbers but as yet not come close enough to a match.
My question is this, does any one know if there is a paint match out there that they have used or heard of?
    Thank you.

Are you sure it’s powder blue and not wedge wood blue. If original colour get paint code off commission plate and get made up or try google to see if anyone still supplies in aerosol

Thank you, I'm glad you questioned the colour.
Turns out it's Shadow Blue. However the hunt is still on, thanks again.

I suspect it is vinylkote rather than paint. Worth a look here http://www.kolorbond.co.uk/vinylkote...-leather-vinyl

Thank you Goldstar, I think you've hit the nail on the head.
Looks like just the supplier I need. Cheers.

We have similar cars, white with shadow blue interior. Quite unloved back in the day, shadow blue, but I like it. Good luck getting your vinyl sorted.

                Hi Guys

Thank yo for the tip on Kolorbond Goldstar, they were very helpfull and gave a two week turn around. However, it took a tad longer to get the right weather conditions to use the stuff.

The spray was very easy and smooth to apply and the result is very pleasing to the eye. I mananged to get a good blend into the original vynil as well so it's tricky to tell it's been done.

                Very pleased Goldstar, thanks again.

By the way, my current Stag is a 72 Sapphire Blue with the powder blue interior. My previous Stag was the white one, unfirtunatly it was written off when rear ended.

                Take care all.
