    Dunlop Tyres

Is anyone running Dunlop Sport Classic 185/80? There are a little cheaper than the Michelin. Looking at a tyre size comparison 205/70 look like a good fit but not not choice with the right speed rating.

The tyre shown on the Firestone ad is a T rated tyre. Original stag tyre rating was HR. T is good for 118mph whereas HR is 130mph. T is probably ok but could have an effect on insurance

I have a set of Uniroyal rain tyres, look good if not strictly "period" and suitable for our British summers.

For what it is worth, I am now in to my second set of Dunlop Street Response 195/70/14T tyres and find them excellent. I think most insurers have stopped insisting on "Original" ratings now, but R/H will definitely accept "T" rated ones.
