Just re attaching the metal side plates onto a front seat frame after painting and before new upholstery. Does anyone know the rivet size? Were they steel?

Believe they are 1/8” not 100% though sorry -
Just in case anybody else needs the information. 1/8ths probably were used, but these were too loose when we tried them. A tiny bit of filing required for some holes, but 5/32 diam, 1/4 length (steel) fit really well. Job done.
