I am in the process of replacing the foam in both front seats in my mk2 stag my foam came without the holes in i have finished the passengers seat i added some more scrim foam to the base and the back and i have also fitted heating pads in the base and back. Now that the passengers seat is finished i sat in it and its lovely and comfortable so i am doing the same on the drivers seat. While they are apart i rubed down the frame and used plasticote on the frame and it all seemed okay and didn't come of with the glue holding the upholstery but i didn't need to use much glue i also replaced the straps i purchased the correct width from Woolies and i got all the info i needed to make them from this forum under Stag seat refurbishment it's so helpfull it's worth reading before you start then you know whats involved i am so glad i became a member you can find out so much.
