What size bolts?

I just discovered that the steering column was behind held to the dashboard by only 1 of 3 bolts... yikes... the other two were missing.

The parts manual did not show it in the section on steering, But I eventually found them and the size given was 1/4 unf. They are on page 06-29 of the parts manual and labled as part number HUD808D

I ordered them, they arrived but they are too small so it must be larger than 1/4 unf...

Does anybody know what size they should be

why not get a bag of mixed unf nuts and bolts from e bay, possibly the same price as 2 from rimmers?
