    Help what's this

I found this item in a small box of bits returned from the bodyshop. It is made from hard rubber and I cannot identify it. The only item I did not remove from the car prior to blasting was the soft top and frame. Any help greatly appreciated.

It might be the piece that sits inside the bottom of the door to "cushion" the window base when fully lowered.
I removed mine, as they seemed to trap water and become a source of rust.

Exactly correct. I trawled through my restoration pics and found this pic prior to fitting the new door bottom

This might help with locating the positions for the holes.
