I can't see any evidence of it being a MK1 though:?
Darren
It says 1971 and has a J-plate, so it must be........................
Actually he says this, if you can stay with the detailed description to the very end:
I also wanted to upgrade the car to a MK2 specification. The upgrades are as follows: Five spoke alloy wheels, mk2 wiring loom, T bar, B Post covers, front seats, stainless steel covers, radiator, viscous coupling & fan, 18 AC alternator, doors, modified door catches on shell, boot lid, rear bumper centre section, inlet manifold, all dash instruments and dash wood and finally soft-top hood
It is my favourite colour combination, but I guess it will go way past my limit......

this car has been on or off ebay for at least 2 years 20 k reserve at first i think.
Hi Mad cyclist (or, now I've seen your other thread, should we now be calling you mad renewed Stag owner? )
I seem to remember a similar Stag on ebay ages ago, but all of the pics of this one - aalso nd they seem to be genuine - are date stamped from late '09 to early '10, including the ones of the shell before and during painting.
As Dieter has said on another thread, this is a one man business so maybe the one that we saw on ebay was an earlier one (with Dieter's in between?)
