Project creep, no running!

OK. Just fixing some wiring. Expanded to designing HVAC controls. Expanded to redoing the relay panel ( mostly so it all fits) OK so far.
Now, as with AC, I have two electric fans as well as the engine viscus coupled fan. I have no direct experience yed, darn darn, on how cool it runs, but all the replumbing still just tells me our rad is not big enough and not enough air flow. So... It makes sense to install a pair of high flow pullers with a PWM controller having AC over-ride. Derale 16795 for instance. I would rather not use pushers unless that is the only way to get the depth.

The real question is, what experience with what fans will fit behind the rad? Fully shrouded of course.

IMO, there's not a cat in hell's chance of fitting a fan between the rad and engine. It might be possible to reposition the rad further forward - I've not looked at this though know someone who's thinking along these lines.

One fan no, but sometimes two as you get more space on the centerline buy offsetting the motors Can do pushers, but need to go about 20% larger. I am also thinking about moving and/or larger rad and larger condenser. As tight as it seems, there is more room than other cars I have had.

It will take a while as fixing the heater bowers turned into an almost re-wire, re-design of the HVAC controls, new relay plate, a few future features... I am going to put the PWM controller oj the existing pushers and see how it runs in the hot weather. 16 inch high, 3 deep radiators are "standard" race rads, though I think the lack of a shroud is probablly the only real problem with our cooling.
