Evenin All, I need to get my stag valued for insurance purposes, according to RH. He did say by the SOC, can anyone advise who/where? I am in Rushden area, Northant's.
TIA
Cheers

I downloaded and printed off the valuation form from the SOC. I filled it in and sent it off and actually got a phone call from Russell Lewis who said he thought my valuation was a bit low and he put another 3 grand on it. I said I didn't want to appear too greedy but he said that was fine but I preferred his figure-obviously!
Hi Triumphman, can you not just print the form off and send it to Russell? Alternatively do RH offer a valuation service? My broker's do but it is twice the price of the club's scheme. I did meet an independent valuer at EJ Wards last summer. He was valuing a friend's Stag, however he charged £150 for the privelige.
Previously Mick at Wards who knows the car and has done all of the mechanical work on it valued mine for me FOC. However, this time when I told my insurers that I would get a valuation off Wards, they said it would not be accepted as it had to be independent from someone who had not worked on the car.
