    Stag Wheels.......................Well quite close

Got these wheels after some Umming and "R"ing just to give my car a bit more Stagness. Still waiting for the tyres though.

A few people mentioned a bigger stag wheel and these are close, concaved opposed to the originals being slightly dished.

The company who makes them said they can do these in 16" rims with the right Stag 114.4 PCD and in four stud. Only issue is that to make it worth their time off setting up the machines up, to make 4 Stud they would need a minimum of 60 wheels, 15 cars or 12 with a spare.

They can do them in 15" as well, but would have to do a whole new set of tooling and that would need a £30k investment. So that would be quite a few wheels.

If anyone is interested then I can let them know, the price for the 16" would be around £100-125 per wheel depending on how many were ordered. There made in the UK.

So what's the offset and rim width?
Think I've seen these before but dismissed due to the size available.
    Nice wheel though.

The 16" rims are available in 8" , 8.5" and 9" widths there may be more, the offsets are from 10, 20 and 25 again there may be more. If there was enough people wanting the 15" then its what ever they want.

8" is huge for the average stag!!

Wouldn't something like these adapters be a cheaper option?

Bullstarz These wheels are stunning and as as you say very Stag. Are they the wheels we had a chat about a week or so ago, you sent me to the website.who offered to forge me a custom set. for to much money than I could justify. I'd go for 16" at that money but wasn't expecting to go much wider that 6" perhaps 7 at a pinch. Have been playing around on Tiresize.com.

I can get a 16" rim and tyre configuration that appears to work although I get lost when we introduce offsets and spacer. Should these stay the same as original or change because of bigger rims.

Then, is the suggested tyre size popular, and so readable available?

I'm also not sure whether I should be starting with the original size which might have been 175//?? as my car is a late 76 or 185/?? or whats on it now 195/70. Others have suggested 15x6 or 7 rims with 205//65 but suggest clearance is getting tight. When I look at Tiresize.com using my current size of 195/70 they have an options of 205/55 on a 16 x 5.5-7.5" so I struggle to find a definitive answer.

205/ 60 x 16 minilights will need the arches rolled for clearance, as mike has these, not sure if he has standard or lowered springs(this week any way)
over to you mike as I know you are up on this.

                    Hi Phil,

Mine are 205/55's 7" wide on normal height springs. No chance of running this width lowered without serious arch mods or lower profile, which make the car very under-geared.

Yes same wheels and company they had the 18" on offer @ £425 all in delivered so i couldnt say no. Ive just put the black inlays in to look a bit standard.

As Sujitroy stated above you can get the adaptors so you can use different PDC wheels with the stag. There's also wobble nuts and bolts that allow a wheel with a 2mm differance to be fitted, something i though was a bit dodgy but one company only make a wheel in 112 PCD and advertise it as 100, 112 and 114 and supply it with these wobble nuts. They do work. One thing with the spacers they have to be hub-centric type as these transfer load from the wheel onto the hub and not on the studs. All the studs and nuts should do is clamp the wheel onto the hub.

These spacers will push the wheel further out increasing the offset. AT the moment i have 9 1/2 width wheels on the front and a 25mm hub adaptor and the wheel don't foul the arches. Even when the air springs are empty. My tires are 225 40 18 which are only about 2% different to standard Stags in circumference/height.
