What's going past the window today ??

    Afternoon all,

The kitchen and lounge windows of my humble flat look out onto quite a busy road junction.
Today's "interesting" vehicles passing by were as follows:-
    a) red Morgan 4/4.
    b) white MGB roadster, "J" reg
    c) blue "K" reg Lancia Fulvia, with Cromodora alloys.....I had an early S3 version from 1974 in Rosso red, lovely little car..
Plus there are 2 Morris Minors (one a "Low light") which park within 200 yards of me, a "G" reg Herald 1200 which also stays close by and a red Alfa Spyder which I see at least 3-4 times a week, and always has the roof down, and a gorgeous dark, dark damson Jaguar XJS which is sometimes seen. (Lovely car, but too long for easy parking....
    Stay safe,

    Neil.

You’ve certainly seen a fine selection today, always wanted a Moggie but a plus 8 and now, just too much £ for me I’m afraid...

That’s a time machine flat you have got there!
I hear there’s a bit of demand for them this year, so far!

        Morning all,

Yep, you (or rather I) do get to see all sorts!
There IS a Sapphire Stag which "lives" a few minutes away, but I've only seen it out twice, once at the local car show last year. He also has an E-type, which I see occasionally. The other Sapphire Stag in the town is at the other end, only seen it once. There seems to be a large number of classics in the area, but as I've not had the Stag out since March (been a good boy during lockdown) the only ones I've seen have been passing my window - no dishwasher, so I seem to spend a lot of time at the kitchen sink!
Still, hopefully things will get back to normal soon..
        Stay safe,

        Neil.

As long as he doesn't spot any Daleks that's fine by me

          The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137

I'd LOVE to see a Dalek on "Points Duty" on the junction.....that would make the numpties stop......or "EXTERMINATE"...…
            Stay safe,

            Neil.

I think we're getting back to normal, at least I hope so. Went in the Stag to Blenheim Park today and passed a Morgan along the way.

                    Morning Gary,
This fellah wears a flat cap, has glasses and the car has a wicker basket (picnic type) on a luggage rack....unless he was on his way back from his socially distanced line-dancing class ! (YE-HA !! ) Car is red.

                    Yesterday's "spots" were:-
                    a) heard a subdued rumbling of a car at the junction. Got up to see an Aston Martin DB5 being driven in a most un-gentlemanly manner (unless it was Bond, James Bond) away, with the rear end squatting down under power. At least he didn't do what the local "cowboys" do, and spin the wheels. The Cocker Spaniel in the front passenger seat seemed to be enjoying himself...…colour was classic Silver Birch. .
                    b) Took the Stag out for a trip (to my nearest Lidl, 7 miles away) for the first time since Lockdown started. Passed a metallic red AC Cobra replica en route, waves (friendly ones !! ) were exchanged.
Whilst putting my shopping in the boot at Lidl, heard a LOUD rumbling approaching...same Cobra passing. More waves exchanged !
Good to get a drive out in the Stag after 3 months, I daresay I COULD have had it out to go shopping, but only my local Lidl has wider parking bays.....and I always park away from the entrance, where you usually get loads of empty bays....
                    Stay safe,

                    Neil.
