Haha Sounds like the door locks - Mine also has "Mk1" Door locks and its a June 73 otherwise Mk2 Federal. (but maybe they had a load of Mk1 federal doors to get shot of!)

BTW my cigar lighter had a dead short, Its just for show now

The Fed cars have + switched feeds up to some time in Mid '73. I know of 1 car here in Orlando that has - switched. I'm guessing BL used all sorts of parts on the last cars for the US. On a side note. The switches sold by all the suppliers for the MK 1 + switch set up are complete SHYTE. They have an extra wire and internals that sends the + straight to ground and the plunger is way to short. I had to go through many door switches to be able to make 2 that actually work. I'm sure that it would be an easy job to change over the wiring to make it - switched as the wires all go to the same places just carrying + or - .

All good unless you have a battery cut off switch as I do. so took mine directly off the battery suitably fused of course.

Hi, just stumbled across your electrical diagram today, and wondered where this came from. Much more detailed than anything I've found so far. Is it something you've done yourself, and I'm guessing it actually covers the whole car?
