looking at the front lights on my jaguar xj6 I feel that the lights are very similar if not the same size as the stags, bearing in mind you can put what bulbs you like in the jag ones, has anyone tried this theory out?

Do you have a x300 / x308 Jag as i was thinking the same when looking at my Dads Jag.
I have a mate who has put BMW E30 headlights in his 2.8i capri and they look good - might be another BMW E30 part that would fit the Stag

yep i have had 2 x300's now, apart from petrol they are really cheap to run, loads of second hand bits as well. i do about 20k a year and reckon that what i spend on petrol is the same as i would lose in depreciation on a 10k Mondeo ect ect.
latest one i bought 41k from new and is mint! 3k honestly you cant beat them.
but on the light front i have measured them and they look to be the same.

Yes they are nice Jags - my dad has a 4.0 Sov with 64k on the clock and it was very cheap (he had has a series 3 Sov, XJ40 Sov and now the X300.
I quite fancy a 3.2 Sport myself if i could find a nice Black one with low miles or a XJR but it has got to be a X300 and not the troublesome X308
