    Dash gauges

Hi everyone, just been cleaning up gauges and noticed the green plastic bubbles inside gauges, I know these give the gauges the green lighting affect, but the trouble is all but one has perished and crumbled apart. Does this matter if I am going to put green led's in. Many thanks Steve

I dont think the green plastic bubbles are available any more, but if your going Green LEDs you wont need them anyway

Yes. you remove them for the green led's. mine look great! I have no dimmer yet, I'll just bask in the green glow!

Test what LEDs you are using. The ones I tried did not distribute very well. Switching to VDO Vision anyway with the LED conversion kit.

I have some cheap led's that would be OK size and light wise in the warning light cluster but the resistor puts out so much heat that it could be a problem. now have the better car lighting ones
