amber cruise lights

hi all , does any one know ,if front amber cruiselights are wired up as indicaters , are these acceptable for mot requirements ?? cheers Graham

I have cruise lights wired up as cruise lights only. however they are accaceptable as indicators. side indicators are not required untill 1986 vehicles.( im sure someone will correct this date if its wrong

If your car had indicators originally as per the stag then they must work as indicators to pass an mot, in the same way that if you have fitted fog lights they must work or be removed. I have a relay switch in the car that can switch the cruise lights from indicators to marker lights. or you could just use the flat cruise lenses as indicators; either way they must work as indicators at MOT time.

the cruise lights i bought from the states have come back to me in the boot, may need to look at yours Ian for inspiration.

no probs, with the evenings getting lighter and warmer you will need the cruise lights for your dogging activities:shock:

mine are wired as cruise lights only and not had any problem with a MOT last year, will let you know what happens on friday when it goes for this years MOT.
