    Craig Davis EWP warning lamp.

Hi all, I am just installing a rear fog light switch and warning lamp in place of the ash tray and would like to fit the ewp warning lamp in the same place. Can I substitute the tiny warning lamp supplied with a larger led lamp or is the ewp warning lamp only a diode and would I be unable to use a lamp in its place? I am not into electronics, I just put the plug on the end!! All help appreciated.

Yes, I put a 16mm one on the dash.
I asked Craig Davis and they said it’s ok just get a 12v led (it includes the resistor)

To test it I got the car up to temp and then dropped the set point down a few notches so it was in an “overtemp” situation and it came on nice and bright.

Thanks Terry. Unfortunately the LED lamp I had does not work, but the Davis Craig lamp fits inside the LED bezel so I have just extended the cables for now.
