    Overdrive Wiring

    Hi all

    Now for mynext problem.

Upon inspection my overdrive wiring was burnt out. So i have purchased a new one.Trouble isthe connections are too big to thread through the gearstick. Has anyone else had this problem? Do i have to resort to cutting and joining them?

    Andy.

Sadly I think that is pretty much normal. ANG do one that is supposed to fit, but it isn't a big job to cut the connectors and reattach them, just a bit of a pain!

To increase longevity, thread it througha length of windscreen washer tubing, then stuff the end of that up into the gearlever.
