    That looks like a Mk1 - I've just had to do the conversion because I bought a new viscous coupling..... I didn't find out that my early Mark 2 car has a Mark 1 engine until after I'd stripped out the radiator and taken the fan off.... Grrrr!!

        Mk1 has studs onto which the fan fits. Mk2 has holes for bolts to secure the fan.

          And the one in the photo, post #1 has studs, therefore it's a Mk1

              When I changed mine,found the mk2 fan blades to be more pliable,so when engine was revved the blades bent towards the rad and damaged it,so I had the spigot/bush machined down 5mm to give a little more space,added bonus was that I could fit the fan belt without removing rad,,see my old post-'fan ate rad'.
