hard top

Hi folks!
Can anyone out there please tell me the actual weight (give or take a kilo) of a standard hard top?
I've looked through every article and book and road test I can find but no one mentions it and you can't work it out because all the cars are "weight as tested" which is pretty meaningless for my inquiry!

I think it is about 45 kilo. (Depends on how much rust )

Still standing, Al. Trouble is there is still a dispute over who owns the land. Land Registry says that Bovis never transferred that patch to me and still own it. Bovis are refusing to answer my solicitor's calls and, I guess, hoping we will soon tire of the issue and give up. I was hoping it could be resolved before it was full of leaf again, to make it easier for the tree surgeons to deal with.

As ever, it will take a bad storm to do further damage to the tree, and possibly my fence and/or garden, or worse injure someone, before it then goes to court to resolve something which should be sorted now.:X:X

Hi Andy,talking of hard tops i have just acquired a lifting frame with pulleys and wall mounted gearbox.A real professional job(the mutts nuts) should be fitting it this weekend.PS german make sommer.Was for a merc sl. cheers all Colin H.
