Heater valve removal tool?

Hi all,
No doubt been asked before - but my heater valve appears to be stuck in. I thought i'd seen/read about a valve removal tool but am unable to find anything about the subject now. Any advice how to get it out or where I can purchase the tool from (if it does actually exist of course).

Gord, you just need a strip of metal (I used a gate hinge that I had hanging around) that you can put a set screw through (from the front indicator/parking light lens) and pull it out. No need to spend money on a tool imho.

I used a long set screw and used some leverage. in my case the unit was out of the car. I put the head of the screw between the claws of a claw hammer. the curve of the class helped. gently pulled it out.

I made a tool, but Recently it was reported that the screw from the indicator lense is a useful thing to try. Use some wd40 & that screw, see how you get on.
