Boot Rack

I have noticed that some members have the boot rack with the suckers on the legs are they any good for use or just for show?

had one on a TR, would not recommend them.

I had one many years ago but found that the clamps distorted the boot lid which wouldn't close properly.

Plenty of room in a stag boot , plus storage under our hood when stowed

I have one that looks like a dealer fit. There are screw looking things that go into the boot lid, via Rawl plug type things. I feel it makes the car look older than it really is. It takes away the nice profile of the car.

I have one but plan only to use it when we hopefully tour the Alps next year. Bought in one of the “brothers” sales. I will need to sacrifice à chamois to put under suckers and clamps. We will be using it to carry dog food! Management insists the Border Terrorist and Labrador have to come along.
