Based on the number of this short block, can someone provide the approximate date of it?

I have LF8ESS in my 246bhp Stag. Problem is that it is a factory replacement engine with that ESS suffix but I reckon that with the failure rate of Stag engines while still under warranty it was probably within the first year of production!
