    Windscreen capping

I need to tidy up the windscreen capping on my car. I have two option, either chrome plate or invest in a new one from Rimmer.
The Rimmer one is a lot of money, but then so is chrome plating. Does anyone have any experience of the Rimmer product, it is a good fit?
    Thanks.

Bought one a couple of years ago but had to send it back as the loops over the top of the door seals (where they fit on the side of the w/screen) were about 1/4 inch short each side. Also couldn't get the holes for the self tappers to line up.

No experience of that particular rimmer offering.
had a couple rechromed £125 each for the chrome.
i think most other finishes wouldn’t be very durable, especially where the handles rotate.
a remade stainless item would be nice, but probably in the £250-£300 Region price wise.
