    door seals

I am renewing the door aperture seals on my MK1 stag, what is the best type to use and who would supply this product. i also intend to renew the interior light switched located on the door pillars but can not find a supplier who can sell me the original twin wire type. (iIcan get new ones that are too short and have to be modified).

    any advice would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with the door switches. I ended up building up a slight lump on the door with chemical metal epoxy so the shorter switches would work.
Can't remember where I got the door seals from, but it would have been James Paddock, Robsport, LD part or Rimmers depending who was cheapest. Most of them would be from the same manufacturer I would have thought.

Don't forget to cut the 3rd wire off otherwise you can short the thing out. I bought the switches and used the parts to rebuild the originals. Much better than using the wrong ones
