Bleeding brakes

I need to re-bleed my brakes. I don't have a neat way to prevent the shuttle from shifting from it's center position. So will this method work?
Bleed the rear brakes as normal. (Assuming the shuttle has moved off center, re-center it.) Then bleed the front brakes.

With my spare PDWA in hand, I can get a podger type tool to realign the shuttle from the center hole when it if off center.
