Yes, I remember buying various TR parts there when they were having clearouts at Leyland/Triumph back in the 70s.I never had any work carried out there, couldn't afford main dealer prices, and like most main dealers and businesses the TRs and other cars they sold were just chattels and profit opportunities.
We can't expect that our enthusiasm for different cars or models usurp the requirements of having to make a living out of them.
I worked at Ford and Slater on Derby Road, the Leyland dealer in Nottingham in the late 70s, and the local car dealer to there was Mitchells a Triumph dealer just a couple of hundred yards away on Triumph Road (local council adopted the name).
