Hello, hope i'm in the right place !!! new to the club (and new to e-mail) I'm in the market to buy a stag and wondered if you've heard of a company called 1st chpice car and bodyrepairs ltd in oxfordshire. They have a white stag with good history and only 1 owner,.they want top money and i juet wondered if you've heard of them. sorry if i'm in the wrong place, many thanks Ian

not heard of them however they seem to only deal in quality and seem to know what there doing, looking at the first pics prior to refurbishment i was seeing lots of problems, however it looks like theyve done a great job on repairing and rectifying the work and the respray looks stunning.

I don't know the dealer but it's always worth shopping around and comparing. So much depends on what you are looking for: your budget, auto v manual, colour, original v upgraded, a 'driver' or a 'show' car, etc. Unless you are a very hands-on home mechanic the rule of thumb is buy the best you can afford. Personally I am somewhat wary of the ones that only do a few miles a year: sounds good for low mileage but Stags, like all cars, most reliable when used and maintained regularly.
