    MOD conversion, mounting brackets

    I've got the car in the body shop undergoing full body restoration at long last, whilst it's all apart I've gone for MOD conversion.
    Think I have all the parts from various suppliers but the mounting brackets just don't look right to me, the lower bracket ends up at an angle to the gearbox,
    before I go welding up the holes on the upper part and re drilling to put it straight, am I missing something?

    The gearbox is tilted to the right, this is because of the engine backplate. Due to this the rear mount looks tilted. the pic on the left looks good,

            that also why the exhaust pipe bracket attached to the OD is angled in the other direction. it looked odd to me. btw. ejward makes a very good bracket it clamps onto two points on the OD unlike the original one. I have a regular after market one and it is quite thin compared to photos of the original one I've seen
