stag heater problam???

when i put the blower on it just blows cold, is this a blockage in the heater and is it fixable, im new on here so plz be gentle, thanks,plz help:?

could be just a cable problem like it has come off or snapped

Hi,
Has the car been standing over the winter! I had the same problem. heater valve had become stuck and when the lever on the dash was moved it just bent the cable. I freed the valve of by gently moving it back and forth with a spanner (have the car warmed up it expands the brass and makes it easier to free off)once you have done that if you take the ashtray out and the heater control panel off, you can get limited access to the cable and straighten it. If that's the problem of course!
