Alternative location of alternator

I have a buddy looking into relocating his alternator. There are various kits available. Since my buddy is in US, he is looking at the total cost including postage. JP has a kit,

But my buddy is wondering if his larger Bosch alternator will fit this bracket. The Bosch alternator is slightly larger than the Lucas ACR18 and just fits in the original location. Does anyone who has the JP bracket know if there is wiggle room to fit a slightly larger alternator?

My buddy contacted Stagdad about his solution, but says shipping will be an issue. it seems TH has the same bracket. TH doesn't have a wiring kit.
