I don't understand how ebay can allow this to go on for so long. He even uses the same pictures time after time. Surely they could recognise the images and get a human to take a look and remove the listing. Anyway here's to the true ebay warriors risking their 50K to protect the innocent!.

Not just Stags, I report ads to ebay regularly fir this, usually an odd start price far below value eg £1,856, one picture then the second is scammers email address etc and instructions. Had over 100 appear on my search at lunchtime including the ever present black Alfasud Sprint Veloce for £1,802 start... They even scammed the SD1 I sold last year. Doesn't matter how much you report it ebay don't care as they get listing fees. Only way to sort this is via a private detective and a large angle grinder........ But they'd be back the next day.

I’m a bit puzzled. Why do people think eBay don’t care? Reputation and safety of their “audience” is more important than a few quid in listing fees. Problem is there are literally hundreds of thousands of listings a day and until they employ AI or machine learning it seems that they cannot see the images that are used instead of descriptions.
I tend to find once reported they disappear quite quickly which kind of proves they do care.Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't
