Tuning the stag

Hi, can anyone recommend a stag engine tuner ( original engine and strombergs) in the Stourbridge West Midlands area. Either a mobile mechaninic or fixed address. My engine gas been rebuilt with reconditioned strombergs and electronic ignition. Engine requires timing, air flow and mixture settings.

Try Aldon Automotive off Brettell Lane - never used them myself (do my own), but they have a rolling road and I have heard good reports. Otherwise James Scott Regional Coordinator for SOC ( details in Stag mag) runs his own business and is first class. Scotty is a bit further away in Rubery but he may come to you if asked.

PAUL ,dave boy green that is not his real name ,dave lives in suffolk .a long way 4 you to come .he will turn your stag 4 you.and you will never ask any one but him to do it .i have had a stag from 1983 .he has looked after my stag 6 years i have driven over 100 stags .i have 30 round mine at once.my stag is the fastest stag i have ever driven i have s/s manifold,a nd s/s exhaust the exhaust is. a four life ,a nation company.the exhaust is two times as thick as the standard ones ,as soon as i put my foot down off it gos.never miss a beat .he do stags all the time .a lot of members put other carbs on but you cant beat the strongbergs.if you are ever this way give me a call and come and drive my car .i have a auto box 65 .hope this will help you paul or some one .derek hicks
