That would solve a problem for me. Got good mk1 trim in the garage and need new windscreen seal. I now know why the trim wasn't on when I bought the car.
I have an early car and an early trim, as in not the one with the recess in the middle.
This is just my experience, I am not an expert.
My windscreen guy had quite a bit of bother trying to fit my new screen and new rubber with trim, so he asked me to buy another rubber but from a different place, triumph parts supplier, which I did.
All three were compared and all seemed to be the same, the one that came out was in bad shape though.
This new one also was no better so he decided that he would get one direct from a windscreen supplier.
His approach was successful and the new rubber held the trim on as it should.
Job done windscreen fitted, with new rubber and original trim.

I am reasonably certain that there is only one rubber company in the UK making Stag screen rubbers, and they only do one type. That is why you kept getting the same one from all the usual Stag parts suppliers. If your windscreen supplier was able to come up with the "Obsolete" one it would be very interesting to know who they are.
Is there any chance that you could find out?
Mike.
Hi, I believe these are the sole manufacturer of the seals in uk. https://coh-baines.co.uk/product/triumph-stag-type-hd7135-c118/
Allegedly as supplied to all the usual stag suppliers

As I said guys, I am no expert, I was only trying to help by giving an account of what happened when I was having trouble.
From what I remember the one from the windscreen supplier was more plyable, easier to work with, where as from the normal sources the trim would just keep lifting.
We also tried using more than one trim but I only have early ones.
I will speak with the windscreen guy next time I see him and hopefully get some feedback as to where it came from.
