Vicous coupling

Hi,
Would this coupling fit our Stags? Also are they more reliable? Viscous Coupling V8 70-94 7 Blade Fan (Britpart) ERC2849.

ERC2849 i've been told is the same but 3x the cost and is an original Land Rover part.

This is probably an after market unit. Go take a look at Rimmer site for the same part. It about 200 + quid

After three TKC101 failures in 2 years, I purchased a NOS ERC2849 from a Government Surplus outlet for the grand sum of £38. This was in May 2009 and it has done over 40,000 miles since then. Therefore I can confirm that they fit, but I have no idea if the Britpart item is of better quality than the TKC101 being sold by Stag suppliers.

There are a lot of viscous couplings out there, my Nissan Pathfinder has one and it is it's eleventh year.
