Hi I am new to this forum I was wondering if anyone knows of a reliable mechanic in Sussex I have recently bought a Stag and have a couple of jobs that may need doing Regards Roy

Hi Roy,
I use a company called Jentree Classic Cars in East Hoathley. They're a good bunch of guys and have interesting projects on the go. They are doing a rebuild on my Stag with a few others on the go.
Mark or John are the father and son team who run it.

Not quite Sussex but on the Sussex / Surrey border you have got Abinger Hammer Motors on the A25 in Abinger Hammer. They specialise in all things Triumph Stag and I have been happily using them for more than 22 years.
When I first visited them they went through my Stag and documented the work needed and broke it down to things that needed putting right straight away, things that could be addressed over time as budget allowed and finally the nice to haves. They are not the cheapest but you do get quality work - 01306 730427 and be prepared to leave a voice message.

John at Dorking Tyres is also very well regarded. He worked at Abinger Hammer for quite a few years and knows Stags inside and out. Very reasonably priced too.
