2 x wires underneath rear ash tray console disconnected

Gent's in process of removing interior carpets etc from car. When I removed the console for the rearashtray / seat belt anchor I found 2 x wires male and femail disconnected. What are these wires for

Hiya, those are forthe original seat belt warning light, tape up and don't worry. Martin.

The seat belt light on the dash is very bright now. Any ideas??.

Sorry mate, obviously "rot found". Very much an experts field I'm afraid, though it does look like a new inner sill.

As for the seat belt light, I'd be inclined to just remove the bulb, though when I disconnected mine the light went out. Martin.

The seatbelt sensor is in the passenger side seat. If I remember correctly there should be a wire coming out of the bottom of the seat with another connector. Unplug that and the seatbelt light should go out permanently.

Have done that dave as the seat is now completely out for new floorpan installation
