Bw35 / 65 from rover and tv8

Hello,

I am on my way to return my Stag to his original status from its current 2000 MK2 engine and manual OD gearbox. I have located and bought a TV8 engine and now I am focused on the transmission. The comission number noted she was a BW65 auto. I have located a BW65 and a BW35 coming from a Rover SD1 and a Rover P6. I understand that I will have to find a Stag Bellhousing but what additional changes I will have to make?.

I am concerned about the rear case casting since there is no availability of the Stag one and it seems to be different from the Rover´s.

Does anybody has experience on this?

I've got a flex plate an d a Torque Convertor if you need one

I would find a correct Stag BW65, there will be too many differences - the Governor for one so change points will be wrong. Give Clive Tate a ring, he may have one he has taken out of one he has converter to a ZF 4HP22.
