    R H insurance

If your insured with RH just remember your agreed valuation only lasts 2 yrs. Just found this out.

Most brokers are the same I would think. Classicline is.

Classicline always ask for a revaluation every two years, doesn't RH?

The issue is they don't give you notification. You just assume it has been set. Other wise It's market value £3,000 for most of us.

That’ not great. Classicline told me at renewal.
Andrew S are you in touch with Emma, maybe one for her to look at adding into their process? If not I can email her.

It's on the schedule. While they did not draw particular attention to that item, it's worth checking the details they set out as things do change. I have a two car policy with them. One car was noted as market value, the other as agreed. Now I've sent them the valuation and photos both are marked as "agreed". I imagined I'd sent the info months earlier but I hadn't actually got round to it.

Each year I go through local brokers who simply ask for updated photographs of the Alvis and Stag and in particular photographs of the odometer showing the current mileage. They only ever asked for a valuation when I changed the BW65 for the ZF 4 Tate & Lewis box on my Stag. Fortunately Clive was able to express his views which was accepted as the ongoing basis of "agreed value".

I've been with RH for decades, with several different cars and have never been asked to renew my agreed valuation (but I've never needed to change it).
I spoke to them today and they said that they occasionally ask for a renewal, especially if the agreed value needs to be increased, but not routinely.
They confirmed that if the Policy Schedule shows Agreed Value, with the relevant figure, that is confirmation you have the cover. Relief!

It seems as though your agreed valuation is below 15K it doesn't need to be updated with RH. I'm just urging members to check. I would hate someones pride and joy to be valued at 3K

Where on earth do they get the 3k value from no one would sell a runner with MOT on it for that sort of money surely.
