I've just had the pleasure of listening, as two Stags drove away from my house in close harmony, absolutely bloody marvellous, I love it ! Thank you Dave and Ian for making my day ! :dude: :dude: Martin.
When I bought my car last spring I made a special detour on the way home via the Blackwall tunnel, roof down and supreb acoustics, pure magic! or am I just SAD.
Ian.

No, as you would see if you check out the YouTube video of the sound of mine through the Limehouse Link tunnel, on the Tahiti Blue Xmas Run 2 back in December.....
Iran mine round to the petrol station this afternon as it was running low - while i was checking the tyre pressure i had the engine running and a bloke came over and said "blimey that sounds lovely mate ........ what car is it ????"
I'm 34 and he looked about my age and didn't know what a Stag was .... dear me some people ehh

Lucky he didn't jump in and drive off!
I would not leave an engine running like that, you hear too many reports of cars getting nicked that way. You've only got to be bending down at the nearside rear....
I am 37 and have owned my Stag since I was 16. It has been a long term restoration project for the past 20 years and I've never evendriven a Stag. But one of the major attractions for me was - and remains - the engine sound! Nothing comes close to a Triumph V8 for sound. And then there are the car's striking good looks...
(Sorry Rover lovers. Just my own taste. Rovers can sound fab too...)
