I recently bought my second Stag and found the Interior Light Switch would not work with the doors closed.
After the usual head scratching I took the switch apart and cleaned the contacts, but that made no difference, so immediately thought it must be a wiring problem to Earth, but that failed.
I decided to take the switch apart again and on closer inspection found that the vertical interior supply spade on which the brass switch rocks was about the same height as the immediately adjacent Nylon support (?), which meant that when the switch was in the Interior position it rested , not on the copper feed, but on the Nylon, meaning there was no connection to the output terminals. The solution was to use my soldering iron and remove about 2mm off the Nylon top. Now everything works as it should
