    Ejward

    I just recieved this from Ejwards 5 minutes ago, they are not answering their calls. This is used, old, scratched and has deposits of oil on it, look at the damage.
    I hope they replace this.

    What are they like to deal with????

    I appreciate your frustration, but why not wait to get a response from them - 5 minutes is not really long enough, especially at lunch time. - before posting on a public forum? If after a "reasonable" time you are still having issues with the part/contacting Wards then jump on the forum.
    Now Stagless but have numerous car projects

      Yes you are absolutely correct, but................. look at the item and tell me its not been used before, its not new but used. I paid good money for that, I feel I have been treated like a gullible mug!

        Again, communication usually sorts most things, it’s not impossible that a dodgy customer has turned them over in the first place. Just an opinion.

          I can’t tell whether it’s used or new from the photos, but E J Wards have a decent reputation and I’d be sure they would treat you fairly. As said above bit unfair to call “ foul” against them without giving a chance of response to you first.
          Escalation needs to be proportional.
          No connection with Wards, just used previously and been treated fairly.

            Ok, they rang back and found that tbe new cbap in packing did not box it up but put it in an envelope. Also the part was not new but was on the shelf left by a mechanic which the new chap wrapped.
            Refunded as non in stock.
            I know their reputation, I have been a customer for many years, so was a bit surprised by all this.
