Hi, according to this very helpful diagram , I am a bit confused about the fuel guage wiring.
It states that the left wire is green and right wire is green. But thre are only green and i think blue wires, as is the case with the temp guage.
I am in the process of putting in the clocks.

bottom left : double white
bottom right : double black
top : bulb holder
Temperature Gauge
bottom left : blue
bottom right : greentop : bulb holder
Clock
bottom : purple
top : spare?
right : bulb holder
Fuel Gauge
left : green
right : green
top : bulb holder
Rev Counter
top : bulb holder
bottom : black
right upper : double green
right lower : grey/white
Speedo
top : bulb holder
bottom : black
far right : single green
middle right : double green
right nearest centre : double green
Warning Light Cluster
simply refit the plug
Dimmer Switch
bottom : red black
middle : red/white
top : red/white
In the end I did not use the info myself. I have fitted a Mark 1 dash in the car as the walnut in my donor car was mint and I prefer the look of a Mark 1's gauges.
