Ignore my scribbling on here but this is the proper wiring diagram from when I had one

One more quick question, which is the best live connection to use to fit the kenlowe?, I will be using the relay, thetmostatic control and manual overide.
          Please.

I ran a separate (fused) live direct from the battery to the relay, as the startup currents can be very high on leccy fans.
You can decide if you want a ignition-controlled live feed to the controller or not. If you use the same direct feed from the battery, you can bring the fan in with ignition off using thne manual overide, useful sometimes.
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

Sorry I missed your post 5 earlier but as Wilf says, if I you want to have it as an after switch off cooler I’d do as he suggests otherwise just power it from a live ignition switches feed with an in line fuse..
              Cheers!

Sorry but I am a bit confused here.....how do I use the bottom diagram if I am only using one relay with a manual overide switch without the Jet boost switch ( i dont even know what the jet boost is) also the wiring on the relay and control consists of a yellow, blue, white, red and black.
I have a Lucas fan instead of a Kenlowe.

Sorry but the previous diagram is not very clear, comes out a bit blurred.

As the profile picture implies I am a bit of a Plug when it comes to electrical wizardtry.

                Thanks.

All sorted! Thanks for the diagram Mike. Got my mate common sense to help me in the end.
Got one of these switches from Tony White to fit with the fan, but lost it on the way home .
Going to pick one up on Saturday, or maybe dropped it in the carpark which I will look for.

Yep had one of those which I sold with my Kenlowe about 2 months back, trying to find anything similar is quite difficult I found. Bit of a b*gger to have lost one!

                    Cheers
