A/C relay plug

Hi everyone,

I appreciate that this might be a bit of a niche query relative to the UK crowd but hoping someone might know, or else our friends over the pond might have an idea.

Does anyone know where I can get a new plug for the A/C relay located on the board at the pax footwell? Also, how it mounts on there too?

I'm finally having a look at one of the last outstanding jobs which is sorting the melted plug from a very long time back. It's not just that, the compressor will need a service, plus one of the two front mounted fans ideally needs new bearings... but little steps first!

I have a LHD mk1 stag with non operation a.c. I don't recall seeing any special a.c. relay. it looks the same as the other relays and wires are connected directly.

Thanks for the reply Sujit. Apologies, should have mentioned that mine is a Mk2.

It’s just a relay, nothing special so unless you are determined to maintain the “look” you could use a regular relay. One of mine has been replaced , , can’t remember which one, it may be that A/C one...probably for the same reason!

Otherwise I think the Blower relay has the same base, maybe you can gett one of those from a used panel?

Yes, seen that one but they're not posting to the UK.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Just brought an A/C blower switch from him so a fine chance he'll have what I need. Much appreciated.
