Went to go in Stag today after being in garage for a few months , Put in drive just got out of garage and then a high pitch squirl and lost drive . Checked transmission oil bit low so topped up .Started again will now drive but there is a loud metallic scrapeing /tinny knock which is coming from the box and not engine . It did go quieter when put in reverse so I assume it’s box out time unless anyone has any ideas what might have gone . BW35 box .
