    Spiyda instructions

I'm in the process of installing the Spiyda RVI to RVC conversion board on Mk1 tach. Being a novice, I just want to make sure I have the wiring correct before testing.
Does anybody have good quality photographs of the wiring to the circuit board?
The instructions are ok, but the pictures are blurry and B&W. The videos are helpful, but again, the important wiring points are a bit rushed (for me anyway).

I've also emailed Spiyda, but you can't have too much info, so I'd be very grateful. TIA

just having the instructions in colour helps a lot. Thank-you. I think I have it figured out now.
I take it I use the regular ignition coil pad, 2nd from power?

This helped when I did mine_
        Hi Ken,

I don't cover the connection to the car in the video or instructions as it
        varies from vehicle to vehicle..

If your car had both types fitted, then the later wiring diagram will help

but I can posssibly point you in the right direction

As you say, the Lumenition does not have a "Tacho Out"

so you will need to run a new wire to the coil -ve terminal
(that should be the one that used to go to the points.

it doesn't matter which connector you use on the tacho..
but that connector, connected to the "IN" pad on the new board
needs to go to the -ve terminal on the coil

The original wires that used to go to the tacho from the distributor to the
coil should be connected to each other.
one would be female and one would be male..

        in other words..

the old wire that used to go from the distrinutor to the coil via the tacho,
        now bypasses the tach

and you need a new wire from the tacho to the coil -ve

finally you will probably need the biggest value resistor in line in that
        new wire

        hope this helps
