Silverstone Classic Traffic

I’ve never been to Silverstone, and have tickets for Sunday.

Anybody been before and can tell me what the traffic might be like on Sunday morning, how long do I need to allow for queues?

Yes - get there (very) early, or you will be queuing for a long time. Gates open at 7.30 I believe, an hour after that the queues start getting long.

I suspect a lot of folk will have written today off due to the weather, (like I have) so tomorrow and Sunday could be even busier than usual. When you get there early, you will initially wonder why you did. Then you will talk to people arriving later, who will tell you just how long they have queued for!

250-ish cars today…..we were there at 7:30, not the first Stag in but no queue…..

No queue at 8.00am, either.

We didn’t get there until after 09:00 and it did take us 15-20 minutes to get in, but I think we picked the slowest check-in of the 4 lanes. However we were in by 09:30 and another complete row came in behind us. I believe however approx 250 Stags today but as I understand 468 booked ( but not all expected) for tomorrow - so may be a little more congested?
