    Leaky Borg warner 35

Hi Chaps. Hope everyone who attended the Silverstone classic has dried out their cars, unbelievable weather but that's Britain for you.
So, My gearbox has decided to let me know it's time to come out, after the drive down from Liverpool oil has been coming from the Bell housing in excess amounts . I rang my friend who is a Auto box specialist and he tells me it sounds like the oil pump/torque converter seals have gone and possibly the shaft maybe worn allowing the oil to pass through. He reckons he might be able to salvage one or the other but might have to replace both but can't say too much until gets the box out. So it's booked in next week and hope for the best.
My question is, Can you use Dexron 3 oil or is it best to use AQF Mineral oil ?
    Cheers guys
    Mike

I understand you should only use the fluid recommended.

Edit: More info: Castrol TQF was the original spec, you can still get that from the likes of Opie OIls, Comma AQF is an equivalent.
