A pure guess but the vacuum actuator for the hot cold flap in the air filter box comes to mind…

I've take the air box off, and removed the servo pipe and blocked it off , the carb elbows have also been removed . Will try a post another video with all that off but it's still there!

Maybe brake servo, or inlet manifold to carb o ring?
        Try clamping the servo hose.

hi nigel, I took the servo hose off added a couple of dowety seals and screwed the bolt back in the inlet manifold
so servo is isolated . Still the noise is there?

It does rather sound to me like some non-return valve which doesn't quite cut the mustard and lets go every few seconds. Brake servo was suggested - can't think off the cuff if there's an NRV in the vacuum line.

Have you tried to cover parts of the engine with a thick blanket? It should go quieter when covered.

Have you listened under the car? It might point to source.

Care needed!!! (Hot and spinny things)

Carb pedestal O ring is my guess.

If you rev it slightly, does the noise stay, go, or change?
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

Have a listen to this second video, with servo and air box removed

Something around the fan belts or the fan clutch slipping?

Try a tube to your ear and move the other end to likely places.

That sound like bearing noise to me. Pump?

If it is from drive belts, spray WD40 on them and it should disappear, for a bit
